About Me...

Hi, I'm Jordan, That Photography Mom. I'm the face behind the camera as well as a wife and momma to two sons and a daughter. 

I guess you could say that I took an early interest in photography - I remember as a child taking my hot pink 35mm camera with me to summer camps and slumber parties and anxiously awaiting what treasures awaited me when I would go to the Walmart photo lab and get my film developed, oftentimes getting only a handful of good shots, but always good memories. Those old 35mm cameras eventually turned into digital point and shoots (which turned into way more usable photos), and then, in 2011, my very first DSLR. I knew at that moment that photography was something that I wanted to do...but, as it often does, life got in the way of my plans. I started dating my husband, we fell in love, got married, then grew our family. When we got married and had our children, I remember the moments we received our wedding and newborn photo galleries and weeping over how beautiful our images were, and thought to myself how awesome of a job it would be to be able to provide people with images of some of the most precious moments that life has to offer, and after our youngest child was born, started thinking more and more about how I could do the same thing as those talented individuals who captured such special memories for us as our family changed and our children grew. I wanted to do that.

I want to provide you with beautiful memories of your family right where they are in life (and showcase the wardrobe mom agonized over for days - I've been there, momma), but I also want to be there to take the photos that you never knew you wanted or needed - your son who is making faces or sticking his tongue out every time I go to snap a photo, or your daughter who is wearing the most beautiful dress complete with a bow that she decides to keep taking off and throwing onto the ground, or mom and dad just standing back and smiling while they watch their children play. I want to capture all of the tiny little details of a new life - sweet little baby lips, tiny baby toes, and the way they can just fold into themselves into the same position they were in in the womb, because they just grow too fast, and every moment deserves to be documented and celebrated!

A little more about me - I love Jesus, music and traveling. I love a good blanket. I believe that a trip to Disney World or the beach can solve a myriad of problems (or at least make you forget about them for a few days). I associate scent with season. I sometimes speak in song lyrics or movie quotes. I am a Pittsburgh sports fan through and through! I love to do puzzles, but rarely find time to do them. French fries are a surefire way to my heart. I'm a terrible plant mom. My favorite color is pink.

Most of all, I would love to meet you and your family, and capture your moments - the big and small, and everything in between!
